Beating the pandemic blues, the MVIGMRC intends to foster growth in village based cow Gaushala with meaningful interface of Central/State bodies, industry bodies, gram panchayats, confederation, federations and non-government organizations.

The current scenario Gaushalas are required to reinvent constantly and consistently to remain relevant in the rapidly changing times. The specialized wisdom of Gaushala Management provides an aspirant a front row access, to witness the success, of the industry peers, and to know more about the cutting-edge and modern solutions.

To honor the efforts of different stake holders who dedicated their lives for serving the cows, the council intends to hold an exclusive ‘Rashtriya Kamdhenu Mahotsav which will be comprising of the thematic display, Kissan goshthi, skill development programmes, participation of dairy and allied industry, cultural programmes etc. ‘Rashtriya Gaushala Gaurav Samman’ will be an added attraction to honor people who have achieved excellence in providing care and cure to the cows,, Gaushalas and dairies.

The Council aims to supplement ongoing efforts of the Centre/State government to boost economy, employment, capacity building and self-reliance.

With the objective to enlarge “Rashtriya Gauseva”, the Council invites valuable guidance as well as support from the national leaders, agri-animal husbandry and dairy experts, industrialists, technocrats, scientists, veterinary doctors, Gaushala owners and cow protectors.

Remarkably, it aims to prepare leaders for handling and operating of Gau Shelters as well as processing and marketing of milk products, and all other aspects of Dairy Management, a popular and ever-growing component of Indian food industry. The Council aims to be a nationally distinct, locally relevant and accessible Institution of imparting education, research and extension and to be a leader among all the stake holders. It aims to impart multiple and comprehensive extra skill to encourage all round personality development and leadership qualities among the aspirants. The Council aims to remain forefront which is exploring its potential for establishing a strong academy interface. As the future of Gaushala sector and dairy technocrats will depends on their swiftness in responding to adeptness in dealing with complex and multi-factorial global environment and ability to innovatively leverage the opportunities arising with the advent of fast changing technologies. The council aims to contributing to the social needs of the society and ensuring sustainable development of the country.

The skill development and the training programmes provide an ideal platform to enhance the practical wisdom on Gaushala Management, Research and also boost confidence level of aspirants. In this training, apart from all aspects of Gaushala Management, all sections are covered including purchase of raw material to value addition of product marketing, and students are given training of milk processing, preservation, product manufacturing, testing, packaging, cleaning, maintenance aspects, accounts, purchase, marketing etc. Besides there is also a focus on care and medicinal cure of the cows and medicinal use of its urine and eco-friendly use of cow-dung and Vermi compost. The council aims to create a platform for meaningful interface with technical organizations, veterinary hospitals and animal science research institutes for carrying forwards the research programmes as per the global standards.

It aims to impart quality management education, make the future generation technologically competent and promote research activity among the aspirants who want to make their career in Gaushala and dairy management. It is also an initiative to supplement centre and government initiative to provide jobs to the rural youth in their respective villages only and stop migration to the semi-urban and urban places. The Council intends to foster growth in village through strengthening eco-system based on Cows and Gaushalas. It is an initiative to empower the rural youth in village itself by enabling them to earn their livelihood in village itself. It is also an effort to support self-help groups, cooperatives, startups, weavers, tribal artists and crafts persons.

In view to propagate lifeline of the rural Indian economy, the council intends to hold exclusive series of Kamdhenu Mahotsav, conferences, cultural fests, technical seminars, symposia in India and abroad.

Bihar, Rajasthan, UP, Haryana, Jammu & Kashmir and Kerala are showing growth in land use and cultivation while Maharastra is registering maximum decline in land usage. Post white revolution, Indian dairy has gone 3-4 persons constantly even during global dairy slowdown, There is around 17% of worlds Dairy Production is in India. The country is ranked at 18th position in world exports with a 1.6% share in total global exports. India is said to become worlds one of the most populated country by 2030 with around 1.5 billion people and there will be a huge challenging due to man-made disaster, conflicts, this climate change. Consequently, tightening of natural resources, constraints (water and soil footprints) and reducing of cultivable land in wake of magnums unplanned urbanization (It is pertinent to take initiative to empower India’s Dairy Industry through tandarisation of ‘Gaushalas” and in terms of improved intrastructure which should be based on proper supply of organic fodder. There is a current deficit for green fodder, dry fodder and concentrates which means that even today demand level for milk production there is a need to double up the land for fodder growing pasture feed lots for dairy.

Remarkably, the institute has its special focus to collaborate and taking forward the scientific testing and diagnostic assessment of the milk and its products as per capital FSSAI and IS requirements. It will enable Gaushalas to provide an insight on standarisation of their products after testing services including species A1-A2 test, contaminants, chemical microbial and QPCR. It also include organ deptic testing to get score for test, body and flavor of the products by the experts panel.

Animal husbandry and dairying sector are steadily emerging to be high growth sector in India, remarkable Private sector procuring more milk from farmers the cooperatives. There is an urgent need to connect each Gaushalas with IT-enabled automatic milk collection as well as supply chain with bulk milk wokers penetrating deep down the value chain.

The indigenous cows are most capable to cope up in the Indian environment in relation to physical and physiological abilities. A desi cow has ability to produce healthy (A-2) milk at farmers door based on dry roughages like paddy and wheat straw. She converts such waste materials of crops into milk and manure humus the organic matter in the soil. According to an estimate, the cattle sheds (Gaushala) manure or cow dung supplies nearly 10 times as much nitrogen and phosphoric acid to the soil as other manures and fertilizers. The amount of cattle dung annually manure: the balance is being wasted, if not properly utilized, it is cheaper and the remedy to all soil problems. Research studies have concluded that dung of the cow may give 1,460 tonnes micronutrients annually which is sufficient to enrich soil structure and fertility of 14.6 acres. Cow dung has played a major role in organic crop production.

आज देश के सशक्तिकरण के लिए आदर्श गौशालाओं की लगातार आवश्यकता है। डेयरी प्रबंधन से पहले जरूरी है गौशाला प्रबंधन क्योंकि यह एक दूसरे पर आधारित हैं। परिषद् का उद्देश्य केंद्र/राज्य निकायों, उद्योग व ग्रामसमाज नवीनिकरण निकायों, ग्राम पंचायतों, परिसंघों, संघों और गैर-सरकारी संगठनों को उचित सहयोग द्वारा बढ़ावा देना है।

गायों की सेवा के लिए अपना जीवन समर्पित करने वाले विभिन्न हितधारकों के प्रयासों का सम्मान करने के लिए, परिषद् एक विशेष ‘राष्ट्रीय कामधेनु महोत्सव‘ आयोजित करने का इरादा रखती है जिसमें विषयगत प्रदर्षन, किसान गोष्ठी, कौशल विकास कार्यक्रम, डेयरी और संबद्ध उद्योग की भागीदारी होगी। सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम आदि ‘राष्ट्रीय गौरव गौशाला सम्मान‘ उन लोगों को सम्मानित करने के लिए एक अतिरिक्त आकर्षण होगा, जिन्होंने गायों, गौशालाओं और गाय की देखभाल और उपचार प्रदान करने में उत्कृष्टता हासिल की है। परिषद का उद्देश्य अर्थव्यवस्था, रोजगार, क्षमता निर्माण और आत्मनिर्भरता को बढ़ावा देने के लिए केंद्र /राज्य सरकारों के चल रहे प्रयासों को जन-जन तक पहुँचाना है।

‘राष्ट्रीय गौसेवा‘ का विस्तार करने के उद्देश्य से, परिषद मूल्यवान मार्गदर्शन के साथ-साथ राष्ट्रीय नेतृत्वकर्ताओं, कृषि-पशुपालन, डेयरी विशेषज्ञों, उद्योगपतियों, प्रौद्योगिकीविदों, वैज्ञानिकों, पशु चिकित्सकों, गौशाला मालिकों और गौरक्षकों से समर्थन के लिए आशान्वित है। उल्लेखनीय रूप से, परिषद् का उद्देश्य गौ आश्रयों के संचालन के साथ-साथ दुग्ध उत्पादों के प्रसंस्करण और विपणन, और डेयरी प्रबंधन के सभी पहलुओं, भारतीय खाद्य उद्योग के एक लोकप्रिय और बढ़ते घटक के लिए तैयार करना है, शिक्षा, अनुसंधान और विस्तार प्रदान करने और सभी हितधारकों के मध्य एक सार्थक संवाद को प्रोत्साहित करना परिषद् का मूल उद्देश्य है। इसका उद्देश्य प्रतिभागियों के बीच सर्वांगीण व्यक्तित्व विकास और नेतृत्व गुणों को प्रोत्साहित करने के लिए कई और व्यापक अतिरिक्त कौशल प्रदान करना है। चूंकि गौशाला क्षेत्र और डेयरी विकास का भविष्य जटिल और बहु-तथ्यात्मक है उसे वैश्विक वातावरण से निपटने में निपुणता की जरूरत है । परिषद् का उद्देश्य सामाजिक जरूरतों में योगदान देना और देश के सतत विकास को सुनिश्चित करना है।

कौशल विकास और प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम गौशाला प्रबंधन, अनुसंधान पर व्यावहारिक ज्ञान को बढ़ाने और उम्मीदवारों के आत्मविश्वास के स्तर को बढ़ाने के लिए एक आदर्श मंच प्रदान करने हेतु परिषद् कृतसंकल्प है। इस प्रशिक्षण में गौशाला प्रबंधन के सभी पहलुओं के अलावा उत्पाद विपणन, कच्चे माल की खरीद सहित सभी वर्गों को लिया है। छात्रों को दूध प्रसंस्करण, संरक्षण, उत्पाद निर्माण, परीक्षण, पैकेजिंग, सफाई, रखरखाव पहलुओं, खातों का प्रशिक्षण दिया जाता है। इसके अलावा, गायों की देखभाल और औषधीय उपचार और पंचगव्यों के औषधीय उपयोग और गाय के गोबर और वर्मीपोस्ट खाद के पर्यावरण के अनुकूल उपयोग पर भी ध्यान दिया जाता है। परिषद् का उद्देश्य वैश्विक मानकों के अनुसार अनुसंधान कार्यक्रमों को आगे बढ़ाने के लिए तकनीकी संगठनों, पशु चिकित्सा अस्पतालों और पशु विज्ञान अनुसंधान संस्थान के साथ सार्थक प्रयास करना है।

गुणवत्ता प्रबंधन के क्षेत्र में शिक्षा प्रदान करना, भावी पीढ़ी को तकनीकी रूप से सक्षम बनाना और उन उम्मीदवारों के बीच अनुसंध्ाान गतिविधि को बढ़ावा देना है जो गौशाला और डेयरी प्रबंधन में अपना कैरियर बनाना चाहते हैं। यह ग्रामीण युवाओं को उनके संबंधित गांवों में रोजगार प्रदान करने के लिए प्रयासरत है। परिषद् का इरादा गायों और गौशालाओं पर आधारित पारिस्थितिकी तंत्र को मजबूत करके गांव में विकास को बढ़ावा देना है। यह गांव में ही ग्रामीण युवाओं को सशक्त बनाने की एक पहल है, जिससे गांव में ही वे अपनी आजीविका अर्जित कर सकें। यह स्वयं सहायता समूहों, सहकारी समितियों, स्टार्टअप, बुनकरों, आदिवासी कलाकारों और शिल्पकारों के सशक्तिकरण के उद्देश्य से किया जा रहा है। ग्रामीण भारतीय अर्थव्यवस्था को सशक्त करने हेतु, परिषद् भारत और विदेशोॱ में कामधेनु महोत्सव, सम्मेलनों, सांस्कृतिक उत्सवों, तकनीकी संगोष्ठियों, संगोष्ठियों की विशेष श्रृंखला आयोजित करने का इरादा रखती है।
